What is Chart Reps?

Chart Reps is an educational chart-reading trainer. You read a real historical price chart, commit a trade plan, then reveal the hidden future and get a deterministic verdict on how your plan would have done. It is a practice simulator: no real money, no real trades, no brokerage, and no live market data to act on. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, or trading advice, and past performance does not predict future results.

How does a rep work?

Each rep shows you a chart up to a hidden point in time. You mark up the chart, decide your plan (direction, entry, targets), and commit it. The app then reveals what price actually did next and scores your plan against that outcome. The same inputs always produce the same verdict.

Do I need an account?

Not for your first 5 reps. Those run as a guest and stay on your device. After the fifth you need a free account (email and password, or Sign in with Apple), which gives you 2 reps a day and saves and syncs your record across devices and keeps it if you reinstall. Your guest reps come with you when you sign up, so nothing you have already done is lost.

Is my data private?

We collect your email address and password, or your Apple ID's email if you sign in with Apple (to run your account), your rep and performance history (to save and sync it), and crash reports and app usage events (to fix bugs and see which parts of the app are working). Nothing is public unless you share a card or clip, send or answer a duel, or set a call sign. Voice takes and the daily reminder stay on your device. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking in the app. We don't sell your information or follow you across other apps or websites. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

What charts are in it?

21,000 setups cut from crypto and forex history, on 15-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour and daily candles, plus 5-minute candles for forex. Each chart shows 360 candles and hides the next 180. Prices are indexed to about 100 and the market and dates are removed, so you can't recognise a chart or look up what happened next.

Does it work on Android or a computer?

There is no Android app. Chart Reps runs in a web browser at www.chartreps.app on a phone or a computer, and on iPhone and iPad through the App Store. Sign in with the same account and your record follows you.

How is it different from bar replay or a backtesting tool?

Bar replay and backtesting tools replay a market you picked, from a date you picked, and report profit and loss. Here the market and the date are hidden, so your call can't lean on memory, and every trade gets a grade for the decision as well as its result. A trade that made money on a bad read still gets a poor grade.

Will practising here make me a profitable trader?

Nothing can promise that, and we don't. A rep has no spread, no slippage and no money on it, so it can sharpen your read but not your nerve. What it gives you is an honest count of how often your reads hold, and a record that shows whether the calls you make at "65% sure" hold about 65% of the time.

3Manage or cancel your subscription

One subscription, Pro, on two terms: $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. Pro removes the 2-reps-a-day limit, shows your whole record rather than your most recent 20 reps, and adds the full indicator kit, the drawing tools, unlimited flash drills, Second Look and the Advisor. Reps are graded the same either way, and your record syncs without it.

Chart Reps subscriptions are auto-renewable in-app subscriptions billed through your Apple ID. Your subscription renews unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

To manage or cancel on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Chart Reps.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription to turn off auto-renewal, or choose a different subscription option.

You can also manage subscriptions from the App Store: tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions. Because billing is handled by Apple, refund requests are made to Apple — see Apple's Request a refund page.

Restore Purchases

If you reinstall Chart Reps or use a new device signed in to the same Apple ID, open the app and use Restore Purchases to restore an active subscription. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

4Delete your account and data

You can delete your Chart Reps account and its synced records at any time. When you delete your account, your synced rep and performance records are permanently removed.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple ID settings (see section 3) so it does not renew. For how we handle personal information and your rights under Australian privacy law, see our Privacy Policy.
